A picture says 1000 words
Write 1000 words exactly about this picture and scene. Create a story behind it and add meaning to the things in it.

Taking in the scenery
Describe the scene you see in graphic detail with enough imagery and description that anyone could picture it in their minds, or draw it from your description.

Stealing inspiration
Not really stealing but let your muse or person look at this picture and gain some sort of inspiration or idea from it and let that idea manifest. Be it in a written piece, drawing, painting, or craft work....let your inspiration take you on a journey.

Gies a Pint

Gies yin mair pint likes,
There is blood in me alcohol stream
If you have nae mare beer
A cider will dae,
keep them commin,
and ill be happy.

Whit you mean it closin time, ya wank,
Its only yin oclock
Dinnae bother callin the Polis
The fuzz will nae help ya.

Ah fucket am aff ya bawbag,
Sleep time fir me,
All be back the morra
Jist ya wait an see.

As the sun went down,

I lost my hope.

I was chilled by the cold,

thrilled by the howling of

the wild hounds.



I stumbled through the dark night

and almost fell many times

so only luck kept me going.

But I lost one of my shoes somewhere

on the way back to the light.



I think

I met someone,

but he or she or even it

never said a word.

Hence I must admit,

perhaps I was alone.



Alone and unprotected,

unsheltered and unwanted,

frightened and despaired.

Finally I saw a gleaming,

far away, but oh so near

and I stopped thinking of my fear.



The light grew and the warmth came back!

Slowly, but steadily, the sun crawled up the horizon

and made me forget the terror

I felt before within my shaking bones.

All that seemed dead at first, leaped into life

again!



Horrible things await me in darkness,

ambush me as soon as the sun falls down,

inevitably,

as the golden circle crushes on the horizon,

swallowed by either land or sea.



But now, as I bathe in light, the dangers

seem so far away. I couldn't care less about

creatures at night, for they are harmless in

pure light.

Troubled mind, rest in peace! The day is long

and the dusk so far away.

This has been my very first try to write something in English back then. I know of some of its flaws and haven't changed them in this version, but I would like to know your opinion. Thank you in advance ^^
